The project is aimed to implement the Regulator's requirements specified in the "Regulations on the payment system of the Bank of Russia" document (est.by the Bank of Russia 06/07/2017 N 595-P).

Implemented Solution

Functional capabilities of the modified payment security system Payment Hub allowed to automate the following banking technological processes:

 

  • Downloading the BIC guide from ED807 "Changes introduced to the BIC guide (or the full BIC guide)".
  • Configuring the "Priority" property for all required types of messages.
  • Generating outgoing message ED107 "Bank's order".
  • Generating outgoing message ED801 (information request on full or short liquidity) and processing the incoming message ED802 (Information on liquidity).
  • Processing of the incoming express payments packet PacketEPD.

 

Functional capabilities of the modified Payment Investigation system (integrated with Payment Hub) allow to automate the following banking technological processes:

 

  • Generating outgoing message ED244 "Response for the request (notification) on the participant's EPS" as a result of crediting / non-crediting of funds to the Bank client's account.
  • Setting up processing of the incoming message ED244 "Response for the request (notification) on the participant's EPS" as a result of crediting funds to the Bank's correspondent account.

Implementation Features

Implementation of the Regulator's requirements is performed within the standard protocol for changing algorithms of processing incoming Unified Formats of Electronic Bank Messages (also reffered to as "UFEBS") for payment processing system Payment Hub and Payment Investigation.

Results

Our main achievement is full alignment of the Bank's technological processes to the Regulator's requirements.
